Amazing service , warm welcome. Fantastic food. Everything we tried was flavorful and tender. Great take on Filipino Food! Try it you won't regret it
We wanted BBQ but with a little twist so we decided to eat here. We have eaten here a few times after that and for the same exact reason; something different but also familiar. We always get the chicken, tri tip and cocunut beef. Of course, the bibinka for dessert!
Not your traditional Filipino cuisine place nor your traditional bbq place, but their Filipino twist on bbq is amazing and something you won't get anywhere else! Love all the Filipino pride with the decor and merch for sell. Parking is kind of challenging with it being located on a busy street. We parked in the residential and had to walk over an overpass. Service was great considering she was the only person waiting several tables. The coconut adobo was unique and was amazing. Their bibingka cornbread is freakin' addicting! Everything was so delicious, the short rib especially. Their homemade sauces is a great addition too with any of the dishes! I honestly can't wait to come back here.
Knew the reviews were good but my experience blew past those! The coconut adobo is a MUST, as was the bibingka cornbread. Will be thinking about that adobo often mmmmm... Service was so sweet, giving us advice on what to order and just explaining what was at the table.
Great local family owned business. Good people. Nice Filipino twist on American BBQ. Parking sucks, but it's a neighborhood place. No shade for that. Just be prepared. Totally recommend!
We had a delightful dining experience at The Park's Finest! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although our table booking took a bit longer than expected, the wait was worth it as the rest of the evening went smoothly. The outdoor seating was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and intimate setting for our couple's dinner. The meal was absolutely outstanding. We enjoyed the Timuay Beef Tri-Tip, which was perfectly tender with a deliciously seasoned crust, paired with a delightful horseradish crema. The San Pablo Pulled Pork was also a highlight, with its rich, slow-roasted flavor that melted in our mouths. The Cider and the Mambo Sun-Sour Up cocktails were refreshing and complemented our meal perfectly. The staff was exceptional--attentive, responsive, and incredibly friendly. The manager, with an outstanding personality and a constant smile, added a special touch to our evening. The washroom was clean and had a pleasant smell, which we appreciated. We were also pleased with the fair and reasonable prices, making the dining experience even better. As a kid-friendly establishment, The Park's Finest is a great spot for families. Plus, the free street parking made our visit hassle-free. We highly recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable and memorable dining experience!
Usually difficult for me to find vegetarian/vegan options at filipino restaurants but not here! Vegetarian/vegan items are clearly marked on the menu. Everything I tried: - Ligaya veggie medley: simple but tasty and well seasoned - though a little oily (vegan) - Coconut jackfruit & mushroom adobo: delicious and creamy, usually not a big fan of jackfruit but I loved this (vegan) - Ann's cornbread bibingka: unique twist on cornbread which was so good with some sort of a sugar crumble topping (vegetarian) - Esquite: really yummy, sweet and salty and not too cheesy (vegetarian) - Smoked Gouda Mac: really solid mac and cheese with a bit of crunch from the toasted bread crumbs (vegetarian) Food here is sooo goood (albeit a little decadent). The service is amazing too, very neighborhood vibe. Must try!
I was trying to decide where to go for my birthday and The Park's Finest has been on my radar ever since seeing them on Triple D so decided to finally go for it -- and yet again, my taste buds are forever grateful to Triple D for recommending this spot! The food was exceptional! The Coconut Beef Adobo was phenomenal - we're going to be thinking about this dish for a long time (or hopefully only until we can next make the trek up to LA for it again!). The sauce was exquisitely flavorful, well-balanced, creamy yet not heavy. We also ordered the Beef Tri-Tip and Short Rib - both featured tender delectable beef. The horseradish crema as well as the vinegar and BBQ sauces were the perfect accompaniments to the beef! For sides, we ordered the corn bread, which was delicious - very interesting texture - sort of mochi-like. We also ordered the esquite - we enjoyed the tasty, creamy sauce on the corn. To drink, we had the ube lager and green tea - both were refreshing and tasty. Service was excellent! We made a reservation on Yelp and were promptly seated with timely, friendly service throughout our meal. Loved the shaded dog-friendly outdoor seating.
After years and years of having missed connections with The Park's Finest, in 2024 we have finally had time to descend to this venerable Filipino BBQ restaurant in our Universal/Disneyland LA road trip. Yes I have been seeing Park's finest in television and YouTube vlogs. Finally, it's our time to try out this well reviewed restaurant. Park's Finest is a small quaint Filipino restaurant in the heart of Los Angeles. We were promptly seated and we quickly went to business. We ordered Short Rib, Mount Malindang Pork Ribs, Mama Leah's Coconut Beef Adobo, some Mac n Cheese, and Cornbread Bibinka. Park's Finest makes proper barbeque, wow! The short rib was absolutely on point: delicious, tender, juicy. That goes the same with the pork ribs. Everything was very tender and very juicy, your palette knows that these meats have undergone countless hours of tlc smoking. The only fault was that I wished we ordered more. The accompanying sauces that are available was very delicious as well. You have some iteration of the bbq sauce, but what really pops is their rendition of suka (vinegar) sauce. It is reminiscent of the suka a a local Philippine street food and naturally, it pairs excellent with the bbq meats. But am I blasphemous to say that the bbq were not the pinnacle of Park's Finest? The Coconut Beef Adobo absolutely stole the show for me. It is tremendously delicious; an incredibly new flavor and interpretation of the tried and tested adobo, yet still tastes very pinoy. Rice intake will definitely spike once you have tasted this bomb adobo. I reckon that I even spread the remaining rice into the coconut adobo bowl to soak up the remaining sauce, it is that good. And still we were treated to another addicting dish, their cornbread bibinka. It is also very delicious; marrying the Filipino bibinka with the texture and sweetness of the cornbread. Johneric was present when we were at the restaurant and I chatted with him for a few minutes telling him I have been waiting for years to eat at his restaurant and I am glad that I finally had the opportunity. He told me this history of the area and the restaurant, and explained to me how he came up with his Filipino bbq fusion. He was very gracious that he gave us an ube dessert and man, that was another excellent dish as well. There are not enough superlatives to explain how I thoroughly enjoyed Park's Finest. Without a doubt, Park's Finest Bbq is a requirement for us when visiting Los Angeles.
